Memento Mori
2023. Inmmersive installation w/ Leila Simonian.
Music by Eric Olsen.

Memento Mori is an immersive, intimate, and personal experience that dwells in the realms of memory, death, and forgetfulness. We embark on our journeys through a collection of our own archival material, including videos, audio recordings of conversations, field recordings, and objects.
For a month, we recorded ourselves every day before going to sleep, reflecting on death and forgetfulness, allowing the unconscious to speak.
What happens to us when we reflect on ours and others physical death? Why is it that death connects us to religion? Why, even if we don't believe in anything,  we still have hope? Why are we so afraid of forgetting? If, when we forget, we simply forget.

When I don't know where to go I feel nostalgia

2021 / 4’ 20’’ - shortfilm

This film was conceived as a co-creation with a television, a kind of dialogue with the device in which words are translated into a play of light and shadows, a symbiosis between the physical and the digital world, and a reflection on the possible new senses of being in a present mediated by technology.
Are we made of decisions we took along the way? What are other people, then? The film's footage of lights and colors comes off as a depiction of raw emotions and wondering thoughts.

“When I don’t know where to go i feel nostalgia” was selected on the ADAF Festival from Greece and screened in Barcelona and Buenos Aires during 2022 and 2023.

Génesis
2019 - light installation

Light installation with lasers and aluminum. Génesis is born from the idea of generating my own introspective space: a place that doesn’t exist physically, but rather a mental place. Everything refers to the mother's womb, which leads to evoke memories that were forgotten to connect and rebuild the present in another different way. Génesis is an invitation to contemplate oneself.
